on Nov 27, 2017 |

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And I have the inside scoop for you all on the BEST Christmas party in central Florida, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. On select nights November through December, celebrate the most magical time of the year with Mickey and friends in the most memorable way! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is definitely the most decorated Christmas event I have EVER been to! The littles and I were so excited to venture into the Magic Kingdom and explore all of the special event offerings.     Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party requires a special event ticket, in which adult prices start at $89.00 each and $84.00 per child. This special event is worth every penny! There are only a limited number of tickets sold, which means the park rides have very little lines or waits. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party allows attendants to gain entrance to the Magic Kingdom beginning at 4:30 pm. It is at this time, you are guided down the Merry Christmas path to enjoy many decorations, photo opportunities, and a giant Santa cookie!       Then you are off and get to enjoy the park. The excitement builds when you slowly see the daily-attendance, Disney guests exit the park and you get to stay and play.     Be sure to tell the kiddos to save up their allowance. Disney always goes all out on their Holiday hats, necklaces, and collectibles.           Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is an absolute delight. Not only do you get to enjoy the over-the-top Disney Christmas decorations, music, lights, and shows, but also there are dessert stations!!!! Yes, did you hear me? Seasonal dessert stations are located throughout the park! From Ginger Molasses Cookies paired with Eggnog to Salted Snowman Hot Pretzels with Blue Raspberry Sno-Cones, you can find an array of delectable, Holiday desserts your entire visit.             As you know, I am a HUGE foodie and the concept of visiting different dessert stations brought me to my knees! I no longer was interested in the 5 minute wait for Thunder Mountain Railroad or Space Mountain, but rather, where...

If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly Halloween activity, then you must plan on visiting Walt Disney World’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! This is a DO NOT miss special event hosted for all ages at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the perfect, trick or treating venue and it is NOT SCARY! I have a couple of timid children in my family and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a great fit for their shy personalities.         Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is an event hosted by Walt Disney World and requires a special ticket to gain entrance. On Select days, throughout November 1st, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets start at $74.00 per person. The Magic Kingdom closes it’s doors to regular theme park goers and reopens them for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket holders. That’s right! There is a limited number of tickets sold to this Halloween event, so plan accordingly because you don’t want to miss this memorable party.           Costumes are welcomed for the Halloween celebration, but there are some guidelines that Disney requests to ensure everyone’s safety. We saw some really great and cute costumes worn by MNSSHP guests. My girls did chose to wear a cute Halloween tshirt and shorts, just to be comfortable climbing in and out of the rides. Keep in mind that your child and you will be enjoying the rides, be sure to wear costumes that are not to bulky or confining.     To get you in the Halloween spirit, Main Street USA is loaded with Fall and Halloween décor. There are so many amazing photo opportunities and gorgeous backdrops, definitely have your camera ready.       Candy is certainly not running out any time soon at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. My girls came home with their bags filled to the top! The trick-or-treat areas are brightly lit and visibly marked, you won’t have to worry about missing out on any of the goodies Disney has to offer. If you are in need of Allergy-friendly trick or treats, don’t worry because Disney has you covered too!   Allergy-Friendly...

Looking For Something Spooktacular To Do This Fall?

Looking For Something Spooktacular To Do This Fall?

on Sep 25, 2017 |

It is officially Fall and there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy in central Florida. I was invited to bring the family to Sea World’s Halloween Spooktacular 2017 event. This fun, not scary, family-friendly event is being held at Sea World Orlando every weekend from September 23 – October 29, 2017 and is included with park admission.             This super cute, under-the-sea inspired Halloween event has so much to offer for every age. From trick-or-treating to hula hooping, my girls (and me) were definitely entertained for hours. You are encouraged to join in on the fun at Sea World’s Spooktacular by wearing costumes, but no masks please. If you don’t want to dig out your trick-or-treat pumpkins, Sea World is handing out adorable bags to fill with all of that tasty loot!               Plan on spending most of your day at Sea World, because for an additional cost, you can eat breakfast in Halloween style with some of Sesame Street’s most popular characters. A wonderful, breakfast buffet hosted by Count Von Count has a delicious assortment of breakfast foods and treats to enjoy. This breakfast buffet is located at the air conditioned Sea Fire Grill, no need to worry about being uncomfortable in the Florida heat, while you are indulging in some amazing breakfast eats.             While eating and anticipating the Halloween events of the day, you can snap photos with some of the Sesame Street stars such as Cookie Monster, Rosita, Elmo, and The Count. There is also an adorable little, musical Halloween number the loveable monsters perform on stage. All of my girls loved the buffet and meeting their favorite characters. You truly never grow out of Sesame Street. I still have a big soft spot for Cookie Monster. This addition to your fun-filled day at Sea World’s Spooktacular will cost you $19.99 per adult (10+) and $9.99 per child (3-9), kids under 3 eat free but require a reservation.               Here is a list of all Spooktacular has to share with you and your family this year. Be sure to make a pit-stop at each of these sections,...
