Make Your Holiday List And Check It Twice Because Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Is Nice!!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And I have the inside scoop for you all on the BEST Christmas party in central Florida, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. On select nights November through December, celebrate the most magical time of the year with Mickey and friends in the most memorable way! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is definitely the most decorated Christmas event I have EVER been to! The littles and I were so excited to venture into the Magic Kingdom and explore all of the special event offerings.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party requires a special event ticket, in which adult prices start at $89.00 each and $84.00 per child. This special event is worth every penny! There are only a limited number of tickets sold, which means the park rides have very little lines or waits. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party allows attendants to gain entrance to the Magic Kingdom beginning at 4:30 pm. It is at this time, you are guided down the Merry Christmas path to enjoy many decorations, photo opportunities, and a giant Santa cookie!
Then you are off and get to enjoy the park. The excitement builds when you slowly see the daily-attendance, Disney guests exit the park and you get to stay and play.
Be sure to tell the kiddos to save up their allowance. Disney always goes all out on their Holiday hats, necklaces, and collectibles.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is an absolute delight. Not only do you get to enjoy the over-the-top Disney Christmas decorations, music, lights, and shows, but also there are dessert stations!!!! Yes, did you hear me? Seasonal dessert stations are located throughout the park! From Ginger Molasses Cookies paired with Eggnog to Salted Snowman Hot Pretzels with Blue Raspberry Sno-Cones, you can find an array of delectable, Holiday desserts your entire visit.
As you know, I am a HUGE foodie and the concept of visiting different dessert stations brought me to my knees! I no longer was interested in the 5 minute wait for Thunder Mountain Railroad or Space Mountain, but rather, where do I get that huge stack of cookies I see that kid carrying around?!
These Holiday themed dessert stations are included with your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas event ticket. But if you have room and a huge sweet tooth, then seek out the Holly Jolly dishes that are created just for the season and are available for purchase throughout the park. I may have gone a little overboard and indulged in Mickey’s Red Velvet Waffles. Incredibly fluffy and tender, red velvet waffles that sandwich cool, creamy, vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream, a velvety smooth caramel sauce, and Holiday sprinkles.
Here is a little more information about the dessert offerings from Magic Kingdom’s website:

One of our absolute do-not-miss tips…The Once Upon A Christmas Parade! Grab a seat early on one of the parade route curbs because this is a show stopper. We fell in love with the Christmas floats, music, dancing, and loveable characters all dressed for the Holidays. My all-time favorite characters in this parade are the toy soldiers. I just love how in-sync they march and the noise of their little, toy soldier boots down Main Street U.S.A..
Wave to Disney friends during a holiday parade brimming with magic and cheer! Festive gingerbread men, elves and others dance down Main Street, U.S.A. alongside Disney Characters that include:
Mickey and Minnie
Anna and Elsa
Pooh and Tigger
The Seven Dwarfs
And many more—not to mention Santa, wishing you a “Merry Christmas!” from his colorful sleigh!
I cannot even begin to tell you how many memories we took home with us from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! This magical Holiday event holds a dear place in my daughters’ hearts and may have brought a tear or two to my eyes. The wonder that Disney creates will leave you awestruck and wanting more. The Holiday Wishes fireworks show is astounding and beautiful, especially when you can sip on hot cocoa. I truly hope you mark Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on your Holiday wish list, this is a sight for all to see.
